Grumpy Young Men is a blog by Ian MacDougall & Brian Umana.
Ian MacDougall is a journalist. Brian Umana is a filmmaker. Both of us like books and occasionally jot out some thoughts on our reading. This blog is something like a journal, except that it is more public than a pen-and-paper journal & it has two authors who (sometimes) react to each other.
We the authors of this blog are not always grumpy, but if you need to guess the mood of one of us then “grumpy” is a good odds-on play. Someday before long we will no longer be young, but for now it is a constant, one that survives the paradox of each day being a bit less true.
